1. Introduction

HTB Consulting Group, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates The Leader's PRICE platform ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the Service.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Leadership growth requires honest self-reflection, and that requires trust. We take the security and confidentiality of your personal data seriously.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: Name, email address, and login method when you create an account
  • Reflection content: Your answers to guided reflection prompts across the 5 stations
  • Journal entries: Personal leadership journal entries you write within the Service
  • Daily check-ins: Mood ratings, leadership challenges, and daily action commitments
  • Coaching questions: Questions you ask through the Ask Carlos feature
  • Onboarding responses: Your initial PRICE assessment answers
  • Payment information: Processed and stored securely by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers
  • Team information: Team name and member email addresses (Team plan)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, and interaction patterns
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
  • Log data: IP address, access times, and referring URLs
  • Cookies: Session cookies for authentication and preference cookies for user experience

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • Generate personalized AI coaching blueprints and responses using your reflection content
  • Calculate and display your PRICE profile scores and progress over time
  • Send weekly check-in emails and coaching prompts (Pro and Team subscribers)
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmations, receipts, password resets)
  • Respond to your support requests and communications
  • Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the Service (never individual reflection content)
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your reflection content, journal entries, or coaching questions to train AI models or share them with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. AI Processing of Your Content

When you use Ask Carlos, complete a reflection, or submit a journal entry, your text is sent to an AI language model to generate a personalized response. This processing is done via a secure API connection. Your content is used solely to generate your response and is not stored by the AI provider for training purposes under our enterprise agreement.

We store your reflection content, journal entries, and AI-generated responses in our secure database so you can access your history and track your growth over time. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: Stripe (payments), email delivery providers, and cloud infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements
  • Team managers: If you are a member of a Team plan, your manager can see your PRICE scores, reflection completion rates, and engagement metrics — but not the content of your reflections or journal entries
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice to you

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS), encrypted data storage, secure authentication, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (such as payment records, which we retain for 7 years as required by tax law).

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data
  • Portability: Request your reflection and journal data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is designed for professional adults and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

10. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and preference cookies to remember your settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling session cookies will prevent you from using the Service.

11. International Data Transfers

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
